More than two years ago, the McGahey family lost their loved one, Stacie McGahey, from injuries sustained from a tragic horse-riding accident. They honored her wishes to change the lives of others through organ and tissue donation. “Improving lives should be everyone’s purpose in life and by donating your organs you’re definitely improving lives,” says husband, Ben McGahey.

Stacie’s selfless donation saved the life of four patients on the organ waiting list and helped countless other through her tissue donation. “I know she saved a lot of lives which is an awesome thing!” adds McGahey. “The prayers you send up on behalf of your loved one were answered. It may have not been the outcome you had hoped for, but others who so desperately need an organ transplant, they’re prayers were answered.” To view McGahey’s video testimonial, please click here.
