LifeGift Partners with The Health Museum!

LifeGift proudly partnered with The Health Museum in Houston on its annual Global Teen Medical Summit last week. This event provides teens with the opportunity to meet with modern-day health and bioscience experts. Partnering with some of the brightest minds in medicine today, this experience provides access to thought leaders involved in cutting-edge medical research, clinical practice, policy and entrepreneurship.

More than 40 students visited LifeGift for discussions on donor selection and management, organ donation pathways, allocation and recovery, insights into today’s transplant world, and college and career pathways.

The students also visited LifeGift’s Institute for the Future of Transplantation Simulation Center (LIFT SIM Center) for a hands-on kidney on a pump show & tell, ICU basics and auscultation/mannequin demonstrations.

LifeGift’s mission is to educate future generations of healthcare practitioners regarding organ, eye and tissue donation. The future of healthcare is bright; LifeGift is honored to be a part of this education.
