On a sunny spring day, LifeGift opened a new chapter with the grand opening of its new Fort Worth facility on May 15, 2018.
Hospital partners, Ambassadors of Hope, neighbors and friends gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the 14,000-square-foot facility, located in the heart of the Fort Worth Medical District. Complete with three operating rooms for tissue recovery, a kidney pumping room and a spacious open-concept work area, the new building is located at 1000 12thAve.

Rainbows adorn Donate Life America’s Donate Life Month campaign this year. Why rainbows you might ask?
You might be seeing a lot of blue and green on Friday, April 13.
That’s because Friday, April 13 is National Donate Life Blue and Green Day– a fun and festive observance to offer hope to the 116,000 men, women and children waiting for a lifesaving transplant and countless others who wait for tissue and corneal transplants across the country.
You may see these two colors – the official colors of Donate Life – on adults, kids, pets and food throughout the day on Friday.
Several noteworthy Fort Worth locations, including the Pier 1 Imports Building, the Allan Sax Waterfall at Tarrant County College Campus, Sundance Square in downtown, the 7th Street Bridge and Lancaster street will all go blue and green as a symbol to support organ, eye and tissue donation during National Donate Life Month.
