LifeGift Staff Hurricane Relief Fund
Thank you so much for the outpouring of support for LifeGift in the midst of Hurricane Harvey. This unprecedented event has impacted virtually every corner of the nation’s 4th largest city.
As a result, many of our staff has experienced hardships losing property, homes and literally everything they have. Many of you have asked what you can do to help.
We have set up a GoFundMe account through LifeGift for a LifeGift Staff Disaster Relief Fund. These funds will be explicitly for staff that have been displaced or have experienced some type of property loss according to specific requirements. The LifeGift Staff Disaster Relief Fund will be used to make distributions to employees in need of medical expenses, temporary housing accommodations and reasonable transportation expenses given that these expenses are not otherwise compensated by insurance or other reimbursements.
If you are compelled to help, this would be the best way to help LifeGift staff get back on their feet – by helping the staff who every day carry out our lifesaving mission.

Your funds will be donated directly to a PayPal Giving Fund, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. You will receive a receipt indicating that your donation is tax deductible. All proceeds will directly benefit LifeGift employees suffering loss related to Hurricane Harvey.
