Lauren Quinn Named LifeGift Vice President of External Relations

(July 16, 2018) – LifeGift, the federally-designated organ and tissue recovery agency, which offers hope to individuals needing transplants in 109 Texas counties in Southeast, North and West Texas, today announced that Lauren Quinn has been promoted to vice president of external relations.

In this newly created role, Lauren’s expanded duties will include leading  LifeGift’s external relationships with hospitals, community partners, volunteers and donor families in the LifeGift aftercare program.

 “I am pleased to welcome Lauren as Vice President of External Relations at LifeGift.  With a strong background in leadership, communications and organ and tissue recovery, she is uniquely qualified for this new position,” said Kevin Myer, president and CEO of LifeGift. “Lauren brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of organ procurement organizations to a critical role.”

Lauren joined LifeGift in 2017 from Center for Donation & Transplant (CDT) in Albany, New York, where she oversaw professional education and family services, as well as marketing and community education. 

Throughout her tenure in the donation and transplantation community, Lauren has served in a variety of leadership roles with NATCO,  UNOS, The Alliance, Donate Life America and the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO). She has authored a paper in Transplant Proceedings and has presented at multiple national-level industry meetings.

Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the State University of New York in Geneseo, New York and Master of Arts in Communication at State University at Albany.
