Christopher Curran Joins LifeGift as Vice President of Organ Operations
LifeGift, the federally designated organ and tissue recovery agency, which offers hope to individuals needing transplants in 109 Texas counties in Southeast, North and West Texas, announced that Christopher Curran has joined LifeGift as vice president of organ operations and a member of the organization’s strategic governance council.
In this role, Curran will lead the planning, development, execution, evaluation and strategic direction of clinical organ operations across LifeGift’s service areas. He will be responsible for the implementation of nationally recognized best practices and will design and deploy creative approaches to develop an effective and efficient organ recovery program, quality process management, personnel management, fiscal responsibility and increased organ donation and transplantation.
Curran joins LifeGift from New England Donor Services (NEDS) in Waltham, Massachusetts, where he served as the director of clinical operations & surgical recovery. At NEDS, he oversaw the clinical recovery, preservation and transportation of organs utilized in six New England states, working with 200 hospitals and 14 transplant centers within the region.

Curran attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Mass. Throughout his tenure in the donation and transplantation community, Curran has served in a variety of leadership roles with NEDS as well as the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS)
and the Association of Organ Procurement Organization (AOPO). He is a highly respected resource in clinical operational leadership and has presented at multiple national level industry meetings.
