Workplace Partnership for Life
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and the transplant community, the Workplace Partnership for Life campaign aims to enroll employers, large and small, to become partners in supporting and promoting organ, tissue, marrow and blood donation within their workplaces.
Each employer is asked to commit to at least one activity to help educate employees and promote donation in the workplace.
Possible activities include:
- Inviting a LifeGift-sponsored speaker to present the topic of organ and tissue donation to employees.
- Placing articles on donation in company newsletters.
Distributing Texas donor registry information to employees.
Each month, the Communications Department will begin highlighting one of its Workplace Partners as a Donation Champion – a company or organization that has demonstrated a commitment to donation among its employees and/or clients.
