Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth will unveil the "Wall of Life" monument in recognition of those who have given or received the gift of life through organ and tissue donation in 2009. "Organ and tissue donation is vital to improving the health of individuals in this community," said Lillie Biggins, senior vice president of operations at Texas Health Fort Worth. "Our hospital is a leader in organ and tissue procurement and transplantation. We have constructed the 'Wall of Life' monument to serve as a permanent fixture and reminder to those who have given or received the gift of life through organ and tissue donation." |
