Sixteen-year-old wants to see your donor card:  Show Me Yours Campaign
http://www.showmeyourscampaign.blogspot.com/

Tyler Nelson, just 16 years old, knows what it is to worry all too well.  When he was just a few days old. he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and is currently waiting for a lung and liver transplant at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.

Originally from a small suburb outside Dallas, Tyler’s family had to move to Houston to be closer to the hospital. As his mother, Cynthia Nevels described it, "It took me 20 years to build a home and to acquire the worldly possessions and assets I collected for my children and me. It took my friends and ex-sister-in-law eight hours to sell it all in an estate sale for $1,000. My brother put it best when he said, 'you had about $10,000 in merchandise and stuff and it sold for pennies.'"

Tyler’s story has reached national media attention, including the NY Times.  His story has touched the hearts of many, including NFL great, Tony Richardson.

In an effort to promote donation, Tyler and his family have started the "Show Me Yours Campaign." This campaign was launched to help promote organ donor registration among teens and young adults to help support kids like Tyler.  Join the movement and demonstrate your commitment to being an organ donor. Simply email your card to the Show Me Yours Campaign to be posted on the site instantly and invite your friends to give the gift of life. It only takes a few seconds to give.
