Manager of Organ Recovery Services, North Region
With 13 years of healthcare experience, Sergio Manzano is a registered nurse and certified procurement transplant coordinator. He joined LifeGift in 1998 as an organ procurement coordinator and was promoted to manager of organ recovery services for LifeGift’s North Region in 2007.
As manager of organ recovery services, Manzano is responsible for the operation of all organ recovery activities, and training and evaluating the organ procurement staff. He is a member of the North American Association of Transplant Coordinators and Texas Transplant Society.
Manzano graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with an associate’s degree in nursing in 1994. Prior to joining LifeGift, Manzano worked as critical care staff nurse in Fort Worth, Texas.
