Sergio I. Manzano, RN, CPTC
Assistant Managing Director, North Region
With 13 years of healthcare experience, Sergio Manzano is a registered nurse and certified procurement transplant coordinator. He joined LifeGift in 1998 as an organ procurement coordinator, was named manager of organ recovery services in 2007 and was promoted to assistant managing director for LifeGift’s North Region in 2011.
As assistant managing director, Manzano is responsible for the operation of all organ recovery activities, and training and evaluating the organ procurement staff. He is a member of the North American Association of Transplant Coordinators and Texas Transplant Society.
Manzano graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with an associate’s degree in nursing in 1994. Prior to joining LifeGift, Manzano worked as critical care staff nurse in Fort Worth, Texas.
