Ron Ehrle, RN, BSN, CPTC
Managing Director, North Region
Ronald "Ron" Neil Ehrle is the managing director of LifeGift's North Region. Ehrle's tenure with LifeGift dates back to 1991, when he became the first managing director of the organization's West Region.
Prior to joining LifeGift, he worked as an organ procurement coordinator at LifeBank, the organ procurement organization in Cleveland, Ohio.
Ehrle has a degree in nursing from Kent State University and is a certified procurement transplant coordinator. He is a member of the North American Transplant Coordinators Organization, International Transplant Nurses Society, and the Texas Transplant Society.
Ehrle has made contributions to the medical journal, Critical Care Nurse, through the publication of his articles, "Referral, Request and Consent for Organ Donation: Best Practice – A Blueprint for Success" in 1999 and "Timely Referral of Potential Organ Donors" in 2006.
