Public Relations/Multicultural Outreach Coordinator
KNOWLEDGE
- Employee must have bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on public relations, journalism and/or health care.
- Employee must be fluent in both written and verbal Spanish and English.
EXPERIENCE
- Employee must have five years of experience, which includes:
- Developing outreach programs to educate communities about a cause, program or product
- Coordination special events
- Performing media interviews
- Working with a budget
- Developing promotional materials
- Working in health care setting (preferred)
- Managing grants (preferred)
SKILLS/APTITUDES
- Fluent in written and verbal Spanish and English
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with variety of audiences, volunteers, health care professionals and public
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Must be computer literate in Word 2000 or later
