Ben Taub Organ Donor Leaves Lasting Impression: Family of Chad Jones puts final touches on Rose Bowl floragraph
WHAT:
The family of Chad Jones, organ donor, will finish a floragraph -- a portrait created from all natural, floral materials -- that will be part of the 2011 Donate Life Rose Parade Float -- themed "Seize the Day!" Chad will be one of the 59 organ, eye and tissue donors from across the country whose images will adorn the Donate Life float's entry in Pasadena on Jan. 1, 2011.

Chad, an avide car and motorcycle lover, was in a tragic accident in June of 2009. He died at Ben Taub General Hospital, where his family made the decision for Chad to be an organ donor. He went onto the save the lives of four people. His family continues to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation through Donate4Life (www.donate4life.com).
