LifeGift Names New Executive Vice President
HOUSTON (Oct. 4, 2010) -- LifeGift, a not-for-profit organ and tissue procurement organization, today announced the promotion of Patricia Rubin, chief financial officer, to executive vice president.
"Pat's leadership in her role as CFO has contributed to LifeGift's success as one of the nation's leading organ pcrocurement organizations," said Sam Holtzman, president and CEO of LifeGift. "She is a highly motivated professional, who has demonstrated not only her commitment, but her sound and astute judgment when it comes to making financial decisions for the organization. This promotion is well-deserved and I look forward to seeing Pat's contributions in this enhanced leadership position."
Rubin, who joined LifeGift in 1997, became a certified public accountant in Texas in 1985. Her background includes more than 20 years in leadership roles in healthcare organizations and three years in public accounting.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Rider College in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
