Donation Clinical Specialist
· Facilitates a consistent process for organ by formulating systems that measure potential donor outcomes against mutually defined goals. · Provides proactive support for organ donation at the assigned hospital. · Functions as the designated resource within the hospital related to organ donation. · Maintain high visibility by conducting rounds in designated hospital · Develops, provides and evaluates in-house training and in-service educational programs on all aspects of the donation process for hospital staff. · Identifies documents and resolves issues related to organ, tissue and eye donation. · Facilitate staff participation with organ, tissue and eye donors. · Maintain relationships and communication between hospital departments.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, approved physician’s assistant school, has undergraduate degree in allied health or related field, (BSN or BS) graduate degree a plus (MPH, MHA, MSN) Maintain licensure and/or certification of professional stature). Bilingual a plus. Demonstrates progressively administrative experience requiring independent decision-making concerning planning, scheduling and assignment of work; exceptional organizational, leadership, time management, and analytical skills.
