Donation Support Specialist

Provide support to the Organ Procurement Coordinators for organ and tissue donation and recovery. Provide assistance during local donor identification, stabilization and management. Assist in the evaluation and preparation of potential and confirmed organ/tissue donors. Assist in the operating room with the perfusion, sterile recovery, preservation and preparation of distribution of recovered organs/tissues for transplantation and/or research.

The In-House Donation Clinical Specialist is responsible for the daily service delivery operations surrounding organ, tissue and eye donation at the CORE hospital.
